MnK vs Controller on PC

I got to level 55 playing on MnK, completed all the steps for the expedition and now I'm just spending my time farming money before the reset. As someone who grew up playing with a controller on console, I decided to give this game a try with a controller since I often switch between controller or MnK depending on the game I'm playing.

Obviously, inventory management and looting are superior on MnK so I expected to struggle a bit at the beginning with a controller. What I didn't expect was how strong the aim assist is in this game when I compare it to how it felt on previous shooter games that I've played (CoD & BF).

For example, last night I was looking for Apricots while my controller suddenly drifted a noticeable amount while looking past a bush, to my surprise someone was hiding in it and the only reason I won that gunfight was because I was able to notice the rat before I went by and probably shot in the back.

Even though I won that encounter thanks to aim assist I feel like it needs some tunning against raiders.
