I’m tired

Just a vent I’m sorry

I work in a call centre in collections in the uk (mainly with vulnerable customers) and I’ve just about had enough 😕 I’ve called off sick today and I’m probably going to take the rest of the week off because I’m so burnt out and stressed, I don’t want lose my temper on the phones and lose my job.

I’ve been working non-stop 90% of the time taking call after call, I can never get a break because as soon as I go into ACW, another call/queue buster comes in. It’s not just most of the customers that annoy me but my team too — I’ve had apologise and rectify their mistakes leaving me in awkward and uncomfortable situations with customers. I never look forward to the next day at all, in fact I dread it.

I’ve worked in call centres for nearly four years and I can’t wait for the day I finally get to hand in my notice and leave it all behind.
