Biggest Nonreving mistake/adventure you’ve made?

As I worked my way out of nonrev hell EU-US this weekend, thought would be fun to hear your nonrev mistakes you’ve had to work yourself out of…

I’ll start saw bookings 3 weeks ago for MCO-PRG (yes would have to transfer) decided to heck with it and would take the kids…all 4 of us left Monday evening at start of Thanksgiving Break, loads were fine getting to PRG, and home was ok we had wide-open options thru AMS/ZRH/FRA, Tues evening FRA as an option collapsed, then after the Airbus A320/330 software updates on Thurs/Fri ZRH, and then Saturday AMS which was showing 30 seats at 0800 went to -2 with 15 nonrevs at 1430 packed our crap and got onto PRG-LHR BA at 1830 on the way found a random route to NAS that looked open 30+ seats (to make matters more fun someone was typing rando load numbers in stafftraveler on some of the flights so checking flights was dicey), hopped onto a BA LHR-NAS Sunday morning that was luckily empty, transferred to a NAS-FLL and drove the 3.5hrs home…

looking back at our options from LHR were all full…if we do this again waiting till Tuesday after the weekend rush, but all 4 of us had an adventure 🤣
