Rec a vacuum to me?!

Hi! I'm looking for a bagged* upright vacuum that can handle pet hair and long curly human hair, and is good for all surfaces. My budget is up to $600. Open to refurbished if it's been properly cleaned. Hope to have a good warranty and/or insurance on it too, in addition to replaceable parts as I ran into this issue with my current vacuum where parts literally fell off and I couldn't get replacements! Oh also my family members have allergies and I have asthma. Thank you in advance for any recs!

*from former research I read bagged is better than bagless?!
