Finally saw a scalper in the wild.

I thought I’d never see one in person, mainly because Targets and Walmarts here in Philly don’t usually stock many sports cards. But today was the day. I went into Target for a 2025-26 Topps Basketball Black Friday Blaster box, and saw someone at the Topps display with a shopping cart. Ok, here’s an older gentleman shopping for his family in the early morning. When I went to checkout, he ended up in front of me with, I kid you not, 79 Black Friday boxes! Cashier asks him, do you have a store? He responds, no I’m going to donate half at the local children’s hospital toy drive, and the rest sell on eBay. His first card gets declined. Second goes through. I just had to smile to myself. I understand it’s up to Target to set limits, but c’mon. 79 boxes? I feel bad for the kid that walks in and sees an empty display.
