Amigos, I'm looking to move to Germany and I would like your wisdom.

Hello guys!

Mexican guy here. I lived in the US my entire life and I have been dating an amazing German gal and I'm looking to move to Germany in a year or two to be with her.

I lived in the southern side of the US and she is from the Bavarian area.

We have research a bit about it and getting married here (in the US) would be the first step and then start the process. My job is international and they are quite happy that I can be transferred to the EU part of the company to train.

Other than the language, what are some culture shocks? My German is at a baby level asking for simple things.

I have lived in Mexico, and the city designs are quite similar. I do enjoy walking to places and the more simplified lifestyle.

Hispanic /Mexican communities a thing? Would love to still get to eat tacos and beans...
