Looking for advice/free consultation

Hello, my wife and I have a rather complicated situation and because of the circumstances we are unsure if it is even worth applying for a family based green card while she is still in the US.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any free resources, where I can speak with someone and explain the situation, and get some advice as to whether or not it will be possible for her application to be approved given the circumstances. Does this exist, or do I just need to schedule a normal consultation with an immigration lawyer?
