Linking MGM to Blue Chip

For some reason I'm not able to add my MGM (MLife) number to my Celebrity Blue Chip as a partner. No real error message, just unable to add, try again later. I was able to connect my husband's MGM number to his account, but not mine. I did call celebrity and "they've sent to the back team". Any one else ever have this problem and what the resolution was?
