Does this affect my w2 income tax return at all?

I have a question because I’m really not sure how all of this works so I got terminated from my job and they told me I have to figure out what to do with my 401(k) there’s 2300 in it and I was going to withdrawal it I know everybody is against that and I know for what reasons, but I got a little behind from being unemployed. My question is so I know they take money from it before they give it to you. Does this affect taxes when I file the beginning of next year I made around $45,000 for the whole year and I usually get a refund back, but I don’t want to have to end up paying anything and getting no refund during tax time and I don’t know if taking my 401(k) has anything to do with that
