Might have accidentally came out to my sister [Coming Out]

Coming Out

Ok so a little bit about me: my music tastes mostly consists of what you might call dad rock. But sometimes, I get the urge to get in touch with my queerness through music, cry along to girls by girl in red and so on. One lonely night a few weeks ago had that urge and since I don't have those songs in any of my playlists, I went and searched for queer and lesbian music on Spotify. I went into a few playlists, like 7 maybe, and idiotically, forgot to remove em from my search history.

Fast forward to this afternoon, I went to pick up my sister from school and I wanted to listen to a specific song that has been stuck in my head the past few days. I asked her to put it on so she took my phone and went into Spotify. Now she was supposedly looking it up, but she was taking a really long time and I kept saying what's going on. She said she's trying but the phone's being annoying and she sounded kinda flustered, but I didn't think much of it cuz my phone is pretty old and tends to drive me crazy too sometimes.

Now I'm studying for a test, listening to a playlist, and wanted to put on the same song as I asked her to so I go into Spotify, and into the search bar. Low and behold, all the playlists I looked at that one night are still there, basically all the playlists visible in the search page without scrolling say queer this, queer that, lesbian, and so on. Absolutely no way she could have missed it, and definitely explains her behavior at that moment. So yeah. It seems I kinda came out to her. She hasn't said anything since, and to be honest I'm not really worried about what she might think because I've kinda tried over the years to make sure she'll be open minded, watched together queer shows and movies and such. I'm debating whether to talk to her about it, mostly because I'm worried she might say something to our parents, or maybe one of her friends and they might tell their siblings. But rn I have to study and my parents are home so that's not really an option:/
