Deduction of salary cause of “laughing”

Last night November 30,2025 when me and my 2 colleagues having our dinner and one of the girls tell a joke and we laughed. Then suddenly our boss came and tells us to quiet. And immediately we silence even our laughed is not exaggerating. Our pantry is attached in room where client can sit. So basically our pantry is like a small storage room it’s not even a pantry. Then after that incident she ask us 1 by 1 why we are laughing? and we apologize and acknowledge our mistakes

But she still not done. He tells his husband what happened and husband talked a-lot of things to us. Then again we apologize and acknowledge our mistakes and make sure we will not do it again. our male boss gives us warning verbally . And I thought it’s done because we apologize and make sure we’re not going to do that again.

But surprisingly we have warning letter and salary deductions due of our actions (laughing) is it really a big deal to cause us a salary deductions? Considering we work remotely 10:00 am till 9:00 pm with no time of break. We can eat when we are free.

Please help me or suggest what we will do
