sushi places that actually have decent amounts of filling in their rolls and arent just a bunch of rice?

I’ve been mostly unimpressed with my experiences at sushi places in Kingston. Maybe im just ordering the wrong things, but their maki and specialty rolls are always way too much rice and not enough actual ingredients/filling; especially for the prices, i feel as if there should be a better balance. Maybe my expectations are just too high for asian food in kingston lol… im from the GTA and ig im just used to the really big rolls with tons of stuff and comparatively much less rice (i know its not authentic but i just enjoy this kind of stuff lmfao). I heard good things about Kino’s but i looked at their pics and the rolls again look like way too much rice 😭 so far ive tried LeeHan, Sima, and Shuroop and i wouldnt really go back to any of them, unless theres a specific item you’d recommend.

Also any recommendations for places that sell really good platters would be appreciated thanks :))
