In this clip they say that it doesn't matter if Travis Scott pens all of his verses, as long as it's "fire". But in the same clip, Lu says that he has a problem with that if for example Black Thought didn't pen all of his verses for The Roots albums.

In a livestream however, they said that Travis Scott isn't top 50 because he doesn't pen his verses and of his rapping ability.

Then why is Ye top 10 for both?! Right next to Black Thought??!

Not only is his rapping ability not on par with rappers like Prodigy,Jadakiss, Mos Def, DMX, J Cole, or Lupe Fiasco, but he also doesn't pen most of his own verses!

He has full teams of writers for his albums, for example The College Trilogy. Reference tracks from the past and present from Drake, Baby Keem, Cyhi The Prince and many many others.

Ant talks about Travis maybe not writing something personal as Coffee Bean, how about Kanye not writing 100% of Violent Crimes, a song dedicated to his daughter? Pardison Fontaine wrote most of those lines.

Ye is an incredible artist and would rank high purely as an artist. But not top 10 or top 15 rapper ever. No way.

You can call it glaze, maybe that's the thing but to me, be consistent on how you place others. Ye vs Black Thought isn't even a conversation.

The Biggest inconsistency with NFR in my opinion (Serious) (Rant)
