ADHDers who use exercise to moderate ADHD symptoms - how does the timing of your exercise impact the effectiveness of symptom moderation?

Questions/Advice

It's fairly well-documented that exercise does a phenomenal job of moderating ADHD symptoms. Posited explanations include increased norepinephrine (which is indicated as playing a role in ADHD), increased endorphins, etc. The connection is so profound that there's actually been research linking "exercise addiction" to undiagnosed / untreated ADHD.

So for those of you who are experienced with this and use exercise to moderate ADHD symptoms, my question is: how does the time of day you exercise impact the benefits you receive from it? If you exercise in the evening, do you still receive some benefits the following day, or do you really have to stick with exercising in the morning? Any other tips or hacks around this would be extremely helpful - thank you!
