Car broken down, alternatives?

My car is kind of useless rn and I've been using my brothers car to get to work however this is not a long term solution. I'm planning on getting a bike somewhere to try to have an alternative mode of transportation but my job is too far. Is there some place I could get a working car for super cheap? I was planning on selling off my car before the issues, but now I kinda cant until its functioning.

My car needs a valve gasket replacement since there was oil in the spark plugs/ignition coil. I have the parts however I don't have the time since I know it'd take a lot of patience and time to clean it and replace the parts. I also don't have the space as i live in an apartment complex.
