High-End Logitech Gear but RGB Still Broken: Why My G502 X Plus Refuses to Switch Profiles!

Support

I own a Logitech G915 X Lightspeed keyboard and a G502 X Plus mouse. Aside from the fact that the lighting synchronization doesn’t work—which is already frustrating at this price point—I currently have another issue.

In the Logitech software, I have two main profiles: a desktop profile with custom key and lighting settings, and a gaming profile. While switching from the desktop profile to the gaming profile works when the application is launched, the mouse lags behind. The key assignments switch correctly, but the RGB lighting does not change. This may not be a functional catastrophe, but I find it very disappointing, because this feature and the ability to customize lighting per setting were key reasons for my purchase.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?
Both devices are connected via their respective original USB receivers. I’ve also tried pairing the mouse and keyboard, but that didn’t solve the problem.

It annoys me quite a bit that something so trivial doesn’t work. These products are expensive, and I expect the promised functionality.

Has anyone found a solution or experienced similar issues?
