Leaf collection?

Hello neighbors!

Has anyone had any luck getting their leaf/yard waste picked up this fall? The city published a schedule for leaf collection on their Facebook page but it doesn’t seem like they’ve been making rounds. I called 311 today and they contradicted the published schedule, stating that yard waste is to go out on recycling pickup days and left until they get picked up, but could not tell me when said trucks are expected to come around. I don’t really want to do this because if it takes days or weeks, they may get blown all over the street, or soaked by rain.

What are y’all doing with your leaves?! do I need to just drop them off myself at one of the DNREC sites? This is my first year dealing with this. TIA!!!
