Can V1 Visitor visa be used to attend work meeting?
I am an Indian national living in the US and working for a US company which has an office in Canada as well.
Last year I obtained a V1 Visitor visa to visit some family in Canada un-related to my work. The validity of this visa is till my passport expiry (2032) and has multiple entries.
Ever since I have visited Canada multiple times to visit family and friends using this visa without any issues.
Today my boss mentioned that we are planning a management meeting in the Canada office for which I am invited. the meeting will last 3 days and I will be back in US after it.
My question is, can I visit Canada for these 3 days to attend an internal company meeting? I would still be a worker in the US during this time.
From what i have read online, it seems like it is the same V1 visa for these purposes. However, when i originally applied to get this visa and the form had me filling up a section to define purpose of visit, i had only mentioned things like tourism, visiting family and friends etc and not mentioned about any business meetings.
Hence I am trying to understand if this is possible.
