BJP's roadmap to West Bengal Assembly

Some Bengalis have a tendency to want to sound clever while their house is burning down.

In West Bengal, there is one hard fact nobody can wish away, roughly 50 Assembly seats will almost always vote for the BJP no matter what. Why? Simple. In those areas, non-Muslims (mostly Hindus) are in the majority, and they finally realised that if they don’t vote together as a bloc, they will slowly lose everything, land, safety, jobs, temples, festivals, the lot (riots in Beldanga, Dhuliyan, etc.. and incendiary speeches of Humayun Kabir, or and numerous cases of rape, molestation, sexual assaults in Sandeshkhali, coupled with police inaction, have hopefully taught them this lesson).

On the opposite side, a large section of Muslim voters already votes as one solid bloc for Mamata Banerjee’s TMC, even if the local TMC candidate is neck-deep in corruption or has achieved nothing in ten years. That’s it. No mystery, no “complex socio-historical factors”, no fancy jargon required.

So how does the BJP ever go beyond those 50 safe seats and actually form a government? Three simple, brutal steps.

Stop voting for “nice” or “qualified” candidates. Too many Hindu voters still waste their votes on non-BJP parties because of caste or qualification (as if caste or qualifications ever prevented Hindus from getting hurt in riot-torn places).

Meanwhile, the other side stares at the same ballot paper and asks only one ice-cold question: “Which PARTY guarantees the continued ASCENDANCE of OUR COMMUNITY?” That’s it. No debates, no guilt, no second thoughts. They march in perfect lockstep, like an army that has already decided the war is about existence, not nuanced debates about ethics while sipping tea, while we bicker over whether the soldier carrying our flag went to the right school or once raised his voice in 2011.

Imagine the sheer, terrifying power of that unity - an entire community voting as one clenched fist, indifferent to corruption, indifferent to failure, indifferent to even an ounce of shame, because they understand, deep in their bones, that if they blink even once, the game is over for them forever. Hindus must get out of their silly bubble and learn something from it.

Bring in unbreakable central forces, lots of them In many booths, especially in border districts and minority-heavy pockets, votes get stolen through rigging, fake voting, and plain terror. Local police often look the other way. The only fix is to flood those areas with Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) in such huge numbers that no local goon can even think of touching a ballot box. Plus, the Election Commission must carry out a ruthless Special Intensive Revision of voter lists to remove lakhs of fake and duplicate names. Without this iron shield, even a united Hindu vote gets cancelled out on polling day.

Use central agencies to break the TMC’s money machine The TMC runs on rivers of black money, extortion, coal scam cash, cattle smuggling, you name it. While ordinary Hindu voters are busy arguing about “morality” and “clean image”, TMC leaders are buying muscle power and vote-buying funds. The only way to level the field is for central agencies (CBI, ED, Income Tax) to keep arresting top TMC leaders and freezing their bank accounts right up to election time. That creates fear and chaos inside the TMC camp, and suddenly their workers don’t have cash to hand out on voting day.

That’s the entire game plan. Nothing sophisticated, nothing nuanced, just raw political survival.

Until Bengali Hindus vote only for the lotus symbol (regardless of whosoever is holding it) and until Delhi puts an unbreakable security and legal ring around the election, the TMC will keep winning by doing the exact opposite of what these pundits preach.

So please, spare me the ten-page articles about “federalism” and “cultural ethos”. The house is on fire. Grab the hose or get out of the way.
