Advice on home warranty

My partner and I just bought a home that came with a year home warranty (Old Republic Home Protection, Platinum). The service fee feels high ($110) so I'm unsure about whether or not to submit claims for the following issues that came up in inspections:

  1. The ground wire to the main electrical panel is cut off and needs to be reconnected/reinstalled. (Inspection quote was $500)

  2. Main water shut off valve is stuck/frozen and needs to be replaced (quote: $295)

Should we submit each of these and risk losing $110 each if denied? Any advice welcome, thanks!
