EB1A I485 Non-Local FO

My eb1a-based I485 was moved on November 26th from NBC to Los Angeles County FO which is a non-local FO as I live in Florida, however, two live agents confirmed that. My interview was waived though and filing date is June 24th. Does anyone experience something like that or is this possible? Thank you.
