Worst scooter (x7 max)
I purchased the TurboAnt x7 max after seeing favorable reviews online (on *their* website...) last month during black friday sales.
I am horribly dissatisfied and disappointed. It rides about as easy as the hoverboard in Back to the Future. It truly feels like I'm going to fly over the handlebars every time I hit even the most minor divot or slight unevenness in PAVEMENT. And, forget riding on brick, its not even worth it. Violently shaking the whole time. Mind you, I don't live in the most pedestrian or biker friendly city, but, truly, I don't know what city was imagined when this bike was conceived. It's really, really bad. I wouldn't value it beyond like $200 at most, but, truly, I wouldn't advise anyone to get it. I feel totally jipped. It ordinarily says it sells for 700+, but I paid about 475..
I wonder if it needs a calibration of some kind, but, of course, theres no storefront I could really go to. I keep air in the tires 38+ for the colder weather, but that didn't make any difference either. The main issue is it just shakes and it feels totally unstable that way, like an alignment thing. I know it's not a vespa or anything, and I guess I got what I paid for, but, I wish the reviews had not been so positive because that is truly misleading, especially as I looked into it and found negative reviews.
Anyone else with this scooter? Is there any way I can keep it and tune it up myself?? I don't suppose so.
