My office monitor is the original Neo G9. I love this monitor. Particularly the 1000R 32:9 of it. Still one of my favorite tech purchases ever. It's 2x1440p VA ("Mini LED"). I game occasionally but mostly I work on it.

At home I have an AW2725DF 27" OLED next to an old 27" mediocre 4K IPS panel. I enjoy it when playing games or watching 16:9 content. It can do high refresh rates but I've found I rarely care to above 120 (I rarely play competitive or fast twitch games.)

While I'm sure the OLED at home is an objectively better picture, and I appreciate it if I take time to think about it, I never really miss that better PQ when I'm in the office. But when I'm trying to work (code) or edit videos at home, I do miss having the superwide curve. The 2nd monitor way off to the side just doesn't do it for me any more.

I'm feeling indecisive about maybe changing home to one of:

A. 5k2k + maybe mount the aw vertically off to one side.

B. The 57" 2x4K G9 but worried it may be too large. It has the curve I like. I'm on a 5070ti which I doubt could handle full-width gaming on it but then again my usual MO is a 16:9 game window in the center and media/web/discord on the sides.

C. The 49" oled 1440p x2 - but they flattened the curve to 1800R

D. Pass until next year

Anyone faced a similar choice? What did you choose and why?  What do you think I'd be happiest with?
