UC review- a few questions

Universal Credit (UC)

Hello everyone, I’m on UC LCWRA and have been notified my claim will be under review. I’ve had my initial phone call and everything explained to me and send 4 months worth of bank statements from all my accounts, providing ID etc.

My current account which is where my UC is payed into is easy enough to retrieve 4 months statements via pdf. However I have a passbook saver cash ISA that has no online banking, I will phone up to ask for 4 months of statements to sent via post, then take pictures of the statements before uploading them as well..

The issue I have is the cash ISA account (under £5000) has been dormant for a few years, it’s shows NO transactions in and out, only a small amount of interest was payed in the spring 2024 which was the last transaction. Now do I just ask for the 4 months worth of statements which will show no transactions and just the current balance? Or should I ask for further back (say a year or two) where there are transactions?

Also I had personal injury trust account set up by a solicitor back in 2017 which held £5000 from a personal injury payout, the trust account and funds are disregarded for benefit purposes, however in 2022 I gifted my mother the money (to help with bills) and the account has been left open but with 0 balance ever since, should I include bank statements from this account as well? Again the same as the other savings account do I only ask for 4 months statements which show the current balance only (£0) with no transactions, or should I just include statements from the start of account opening? (2017- current)?

Lastly even though the funds from the personal injury trust where disregarded for benefit purposes and upon asking solicitors advice of being able to gift funds from the trust to a family member, is there a possibility the DWP may scrutinise the gifting and treat is as deprivation of capital? Treating me like I still had the money and be asked to pay back a large overpayment for the last 3-4 years?
