Best Strollers Similar to Doona — What Should I Try Next?
Hi everyone,
I’m searching for a stroller that offers the Doona’s convenience but feels lighter and easier to handle day to day. I love the idea of a stroller that transforms from a car seat, but I worry about weight, bulk, and long-term use.
For those who’ve owned or tested the Doona, do you think it’s worth it, or did you switch to something different? What options did you consider, and what made you choose them?
So far, I’ve seen people mention the Nuna Pipa Lite paired with the Nuna TRVL stroller or similar lightweight travel strollers. These combos are easy to carry, simple to set up, and many feel less bulky than the Doona.
I’ve also read good things about the Evenflo Shyft DualRide, which is a bit taller and lighter—making lifting in and out of cars easier. Some parents even prefer the Joolz Aer+ or the Bugaboo Butterfly for more compact, travel-friendly outings.
If you’ve tried any of these or have a favorite setup, what do you like best for everyday errands and travel? How does the stroller work with bigger kids, and is there decent storage space? Any tips on compatibility or features to pay extra attention to?
Thanks for any practical advice you can share. I’m hoping to find something that’s as straightforward and convenient as the Doona, but easier on my arms!
