Mystery box unfair pricing

I checked and converted the mystery box price to USD yesterday. Why is it now $230, instead of ~198 that the GBP converts to?

Just because of that, and then the additional $15 shipping fee, I decided to skip the mystery box altogether. Very shady. I love their designs, but I don’t think I’ll be shopping ever again after this disappointing “sale” and the inexplicable price differences.
