Dating my old Burghley
I bought this Burghley new years ago, but have rarely worn it. It was too bulky for the exterior film work I used to do, and the length actually isn't great on my 5' 6" frame. I have been mulling over selling it and buying a Bedale, so I've gone deep down the Barbour rabbit hole including this subreddit. Barbour still uses the A style system, but the other numbering is quite different. Does the Folio number , beginning with 86, indicate a 1986 production date? Maybe some of the other labeling? I know the tartan changed at some point. Does the age of the coat perhaps enhance its value? Any suggestions welcome.
