Tough spot deep in tourney.

Hello good folks of reddit. Rec player here and was in a tough spot deep in a tourney last night, would appreciate your thoughts. I'm 10/12 , so down to two tables of a 400 runner tourney. 1.5k up top. 6 handed, folds to me in the cut off (16bb) min raise A8 off, button calls, sb, bb fold. Button (70bbs) has been very spewy, showing up with random trash, called off 10bb jam earlier with 89 off, been caught bluffing a few times, so been waiting to get in a decent spot with him. Flop 8,2,5 rainbow. I bet 2bb, buttons calls. Turn 8, I check (think this was maybe terrible in retrospect?, but the way the table dynamics were I was 100% certain he would bet if I showed weakness). I call (Again , this was probably bad?). River 5, I check, button Jams. What do we do here?
