Neighborhood Safety Event - Free Narcan Training 12/13

Hey neighbors!

CM Jennifer Gutierrez partnered up with Pine Box Rock Shop, Neighborhood Venue Alliance and Department of Health to host a free Narcan (naloxone) training on Dec 13 at Pine Box Rock Shop. It’s a super accessible way to learn how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose. All that attend the training receive a free Overdose Rescue Kit. No prior experience is needed, just show up, learn something important, and help keep the community safer.

It’s one of those things you hope you never have to use, but it really does make a difference to have more people in the neighborhood who know what to do. And it’s a nice way to meet neighbors and support harm reduction efforts around here. Worth checking out if you’ve got time! Register using the link on the flyer.
