Chic city-walking boots/shoes that are not Chelsea boots?

Looking for some long-walking boots for city travel that are preferably leather. I really dislike the look of Chelsea boots.

Some styles I like are:

• converse (find them super comfortable but more casual and not best for snow)
• loafers (I saw a girl wear them at Banana Republic and thought they looked soooo cute)
• Birkenstocks/clogs (but because they’re slip ons I find it difficult to walk in)

The place I’m traveling to has lots of rain/snow so I want something that’ll stay dry while still looking chic. and comfortable too for 20k+ steps a day.
