Zagreus from Hades Cosplay - Wig Question

Hey, I'm trying to make a Zagreus cosplay in my spare time for next Summer or Halloween and I was wondering if someone would know what length/style of wig would work for this character?

I'm trying to find cheaper wigs to practice on since its my first time but also wanted to know if you think the following wig would work since the back and sides dont really have the spikes/anime style hair? https://www.epiccosplay.com/collections/short-wigs/products/nike-black-pepper-grey-undercut-wig
