What handwriting assessments are we using for our little kids?

Discussion

So in general the core of my assessments include the WOLD and the Beery plus functional skills. I don't love the Beery but so far I haven't gotten anything better. Working on getting the BOT 3 but the school hasn't pulled the trigger yet. I do like the WOLD but I feel like it isn't so great for my kindergarten and 1st grade kids. I recently tried administering The Test of Handwriting Skills to a few kids and maybe it's just because I'm new to using it, but I'm not enjoying it at all. It's a total bear to score and to me I feel like there's not always a clear variation between letters that score a 3 and letters that don't, or that the letters my student has written looks like NONE of the sample letters so I'm not quite sure how to proceed.

Are there any other standardized assessments that you guys like for the younger kids to look at functional handwriting skills? I'm also interested to hear what assessments you all like in general, and why. I'm trying to expand my assessment repertoire a bit!
