Just so bummed and defeated.

Legit been trying to get this pivot screw loose in my civivi vision fg and nothing I try will do it. Soldering iron, clamps, nothing. I’ve now ruined the scales because they started to melt and since they are lexan they turned brown. My pivot and screw are all scrapped up. This is such bullshit I’ve never ever had a knife do this. Now the blade wobbles and it won’t tighten either. Won’t loosen or tighten now. I know it’s a bit of an over exaggeration but it’s turned me off to the entire hobby. That’s how pissed I am. Decided to just keep 3-4 of my favorites and getting rid of my entire collection. Have enough stress in life having a hobby stress me out like this is crazy. It’s just crazy it’s a damn civivi why would it be this difficult to get it loose. Makes zero sense. My other vision and other 50 knives I’ve changed scales or cleaned and taken apart not one problem ever. Always simple. This is the one that has officially broken me.
