do you feel like is hard to make trans friends?

i live in san diego and i figured i’d meet more people like me but i feel like it’s rare. even in a bid city i’m usually the only trans woman in the room. i know LA has a lot more event wise but i don’t want to drive 2+ hours to make friends in another city. i know blue mondays at a bar i used to go to attracted more trans women than most venues but idk, i never really made a friend from there and any friends i made were from another friend and not trans. what few friendships i’ve tried just kinda never took off or had the gut feeling they just wanted to bang. i have friends and i’m not isolated or anything it’s just that i feel a sense of isolation from not having trans friends sometimes.
