Kollam advice for a foreigner

Hello Everyone, i have some questions to ask if you don’t mind yall I am a foreigner coming for work in kollam for 10 months 1- Is the water safe here (showering, brushing teeth etc? ) 2- what are the good restaurants (halal) with high quality and clean food? (I have a very weak gut haha)? 3- is the living here pretty safe? (What are the precautions) 4- are there many foreigners that come for work here or not? 5- is there any good Gym (no matter the price) you would recommend me?
