Latest on stacking CS/NXR + gift cards at Argos/Currys ?

Hi,

Last september I bought an iPhone at Argos through Complete Savings. I paid most of it with 6% off Argos gift cards purchased through Vivup (work benefits), £15 with Nectar points, and the rest with a One4all card.

Cashback didn't track automatically and I had to contact CS. I was nervous to say the least, given that the cashback T&Cs exclude gift card payments, and I had also used Nectar on top !

They initially pushed back because the receipt I sent them didn't show the year in the date of purchase. I explained that it's just what Argos provides and that it couldn't be any other year given that it was the latest iPhone. They accepted that and manually added the cashback. Phew !

Crucially, I can't remember if I sent them the Argos "order booking confirmation" (which doesn't show payment details) or the order confirmation (which did show gift cards and Nectar points used)

So I don't know if I just got lucky with this agent, or if Argos cashback can reliably be stacked with gift cards.

What about Currys ?

I'd like to buy a new TV tonight at Currys Black Friday (does anyone know if it's still on tomorrow ?).
There's 10% CS cashback, I can also get 6.7% off gift cards, and I found a 10% off promo code for TVs (TV10 if you're interested).
How likely is it that everything will stack ? If the promo code voids cashback, well I haven't lost anything as they're both 10%. But what about the gift cards ? Has anybody managed to stack them with CS at Currys recently ?
