Medicaid and labwork IL

So I'm new to medicaid (Meridian il). I have a doctor appointment next week for thyroid issues, I get bloodwork every 6 months to keep an eye on it.

On the meridian website on the provider lookup under labwork the only places that show up are labcorps and quest diagnostic all of which are 45 minutes+ away.

My local hospital is osf and they have an outpatient lab and on their website it says they accept meridian Medicaid for everything.

I called the osf lab and the receptionist said she can't answer whethers it's in network and I called meridian and they just read off what I can see on provider lookup Saying LabCorp and quest.

So medicaid doesn't cover outpatient labs and just goes through LabCorp and quest? Sucks because it's snowing in Illinois a lot this week and that 90 min drive is gonna be terrible.
