Pregnancy #7. Loss # 6.
Just found out my 7th pregnancy is not viable. I have to wait til Wednesday to redraw HCG to rule out an ectopic. I'm so sad and angry. We began trying in January 2021 and had zero luck. In January 2022, a week before I had an appointment to start running tests, I got a positive test. It ended in an early miscarriage. In April 2022, I got pregnant again but it ended in a blighted ovum which required a D&C in May (genetically normal). In August 2022 I had a chemical pregnancy which my doctor at the time wouldn't count toward the "3 loss rule." In Ocotber 2022, I got pregnant again and had a missed miscarriage which required a D&C in December (genetically normal). I had actually gotten to see this one's heartbeat. In January 2023 I finally got scheduled with a fertility doctor. She did a SIS and a HSG and discovered a septum as well as tons of polyps which were removed in February 2023. We got pregnant the first month we were able to try and I had a healthy pregnancy and baby boy in December 2023. He's my whole world and quite literally a miracle for us. We waited the recommended 18 months after my C-Section and got pregnant the first try in July 2025. It was ectopic. I had MTX. We waited the 3 months to try again. Once again, we got pregnant the first try this month. I'm either having a chemical or an ectopic. I'm hoping its a chemical since my HCG was 17 on 11/25, 37 on 11/27, and then 26 today (12/1). I've had zero pain or bleeding which I always had both at some point in all my other losses. My OB is working on getting me scheduled for a pelvic MRI. I thought the surgery in 2023 fixed my problem but now it just feels like I got lucky my son made it earthside.
I know I should just be thankful I have one healthy baby and I am, but all I've ever wanted in this life is to be a mom and have as many babies as I'm able to. I grew up an only child until I was 10 and I've just always wanted my kids to get to grow up with siblings. I'm 31 and just feel like my chances of having another healthy baby are dwindling the older I get.
Thanks for reading. I just needed somewhere to let out my frustration.
