Which recipe do you use to make kalakhand

Which milk do you use to make kalakhand? When I go to stores then is 2%, 0% milk, 3.25% milk, cow milk, goat milk, and all. Also once I made it and it turned into sweet paneer with ghee. And also how do you make it turn golden brown in the middle of the sweet and still white on the outside? Can someone please give advice on how to properly make this sweet please:)
