Strikers can't score at all in the FM26 match engine

Am I the only one who feels like my striker is completely useless in many scenarios in FM26? I feel like my wingers do a lot more work while my striker just sits in the box mindlessly. It is very annoying when you splash cash on a striker that doesn't impact your games 80% of the time. And it's not like I am losing, I'm consistently winning games and the league, but my midfielders and wingers seem to be doing all the scoring instead of the striker. I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem
