Helen and the "milk" question

What did Carol find? I think it has to be bodies or brains. That's what the powder is made of. Because:

• Foreshadowing way back in Ep. 1 (not just the wolfs in Ep.5). In Ep.1 the hivemind tries to take Helen's body / "help with remains" twice (from the truck, Davis Taffler's assistance offer.) In fact, the first two things Carol sees the hivemind doing, after it comes online, are: it tries to infect Carol by kissing and it tries to take Helen's body. In parallel.

• Could be unrelated, but we never saw this behavior from the hive again. When she drives home and the road is blocked, a small crowd is gathered behind the truck, and not moving. Although one of the sidewalks is empty. As if trying to get close to Helen's body? Carol: "what the fuck?"

• It seems a little weird that the hivemind located and tried to pick up Helen's body just minutes after the event. It seems like there was a lot to do in the hospital (probably many new injured, broken things). Maybe collecting (and freezing?) bodies is a priority.

Conclusion

If the scenes described above mean/foreshadow something, it has to be related to what she found. It has to be human remains of some kind. Foreshadowing: Carol "saves" Helen's body from the hive. Turns out she saved it from being eaten. Wolfs: symbolic foreshadowing.

Just a theory. I said maybe collecting bodies is a priority. But we saw other bodies elsewhere not removed for much longer. For example, wherever Zosia lived (Tangier?). Maybe they don't have enough transport or storage resources there. Or maybe the hivemind's priority is to collect bodies of the humans who joined it, but then died, like Helen? Maybe for whatever reason they can only produce "milk" from their bodies or brains? Or need them of other purpose? I think there were (many?) people who died before the joining process was completed.

Another theory. A pretty crazy insane theory lol, sorry, we're already in this territory, so why not. Maybe Carol saw Helen's body or head (barely recognizable - it was already buried). The hivemind dug up her corpse, replaced it with someone else's (unjoined dead)? Maybe they need to have every dead hivemind member body for whatever reason.
