Buy now or wait for next year discount?

Best buy has the SL7 with 16GB, 512GB SSD on sale for $805 with tax. Im not in a rush to get a laptop now, but i will be needing one come spring/early summer next year. Is there usually a sale around that time? If so, is it as good as the current discount?
