I love movie scenes with a montage of a character building something... does that make sense?

The best example I can think of is the scene in "Home Alone" where we watch Kevin put together all of the booby traps. It's just so cool to see all the creative ideas that they came up with, like painting the steps with tar and heating up the doorknob.

Another example that I thought of is when the kids in "Stranger Things" built the sensory deprivation tank in season 1 (they did it a few times throughout the show).

Does anyone else have any cool examples of this?
