Advice on transitioning to bottles

Daycare Question

I’m going back to work and my baby will go to daycare in a month. Currently we are exclusively breastfeeding. I’m a just enougher - if I pump after she nurses I get maybe 1/2 oz total. My milk is high lipase. So my frozen breast milk (the very small stash that I have), tastes horrible. I’ve only tried giving her frozen breastmilk once and she seems to reluctantly consume it, but I’ve not had the heart to give more to her since because I know how bad it tastes!

My plan is to nurse her when she is not at daycare or I at work. During work hours, I plan to pump 3 times every 2-3 hours and this will be what I’ll send to daycare for her the next day so it’s as fresh as it gets. The only time she’ll have to “suffer” through frozen breastmilk is on Monday where she will get breastmilk pumped on the Friday before. Does this make sense?

I’m guessing she’ll need to practice drinking from a bottle before starting daycare? Should she do this soon? Is a bottle a day enough practice? Do I just replace one nursing session with a pumping session to achieve this?

Any other advice is much appreciated!
