Should I upgrade from a 12600kf to a 5800x3d

Someone who lives near me is selling a 5800x3d for $300, which is lower than other resellers are offering. RAM prices are really crazy right now which is preventing me from jumping to am5 since I would need to get an am5 itx motherboard and an am5 cpu faster than the 12600kf so I can take advantage of my 240hz monitor in marvel rivals. I already have a ddr5 pc somewhere, but im not sure which option i should take. Either the 5800x3d with cheap itx motherboards, or an am5 mobo with an am5 cpu at least faster than my 12600kf, or get an intel cpu instead. My other issue is that im looking at comparasion videos on youtube and the 5800x3d seems pretty damn close to the 12700k and 12600k and i cant find any other direct comparison that is newer than a year, while videos from a couple of years ago has the 5800x3d at the top of gaming cpus. If you guys choose the am5 option, id like some recommendations on cpus fast than the 12600kf at a decent price. keep in mind that i have an itx case so itx motherboard pricing still needs to be factored.

my specs rn:
12600kf
240mil aio
1tb of storage
32gb 3200mhz ddr4
