Small work New Year Party

I want to do something for my workplace for the new year but I’m brooooke. So I want to keep the budget EXTREMELY low. It wouldn’t be an official party because everyone is required to be in their assigned stations throughout the day so I could go station to station but I was thinking if just setting up in the break room. It’s a mostly female work environment with ladies as young as 19 and as old as 65 all mixed in.

This would be for approximately 25 people. I was thinking sparkling cider with “fancy” cups and maybe some New Year swag like hats and glasses. But I also want to treat them to an inexpensive treat. They would grab things as they go in breaks.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to keep the cost very low? Where to purchase things? What kinds of things I can give/serve?

I may have to scratch the idea completely based on cost, but figured I’d ask others for thoughts before I do that.
