Is there a way to get rid of the spiders?

I just got to the Jackdaw’s Tomb quest and I’ve quitted and redone the quest three times because the spiders freak me out to the core, even on arachnophobia mode. I’m extremely arachnophobic, and scared of anything with for than 4 legs. Does anyone know if you can avoid them or turn them off?
