New reseller with photo questions

Wondering what everyone's opinions or experiences are in the following two areas:

1. Should you or should you not remove the background from items that you're posting on Facebook Marketplace?

2. Obviously, image quality and the lighting are essential, but how many of you are using bulk editing tools to edit things like brightness, contrast, saturation, or color, etc, before uploading? And if so, what have you found to be the fastest way to do this with user-friendly software that doesn't have a terrible user interface and is easy to use from the start?

Or... just get it listed and don't worry about it, as long as the images look decent enough?
