Let’s discuss ‘spectrums’ and how maybe more times than not it’s a gateway to a diagnosis that you may not have sincerely.

:general: Serious Discussion

‘spectrums’, more often than we realize, the language around them can become a gateway to assuming or even seeking out a diagnosis that may not genuinely apply. In today’s time where self-labeling is easy and information is abundant where is the line drawn between awareness and normal variations in personality and behavior. Everyone’s different & no one is perfect.. just because you don’t have laser focus 24/7 doesn’t mean you’re on a spectrum for ADHD or just because you can’t pick up someone intentions doesn’t mean you have autism. Of course someone whose stimming or experiencing pain from sensory sensitivity is not to be ignored nor disregarded.. but just my honest opinion.. some folks.. if not most folks are 100% normal and have been fooled/ psyched into/ led into a business that’s disguised as the pharmacy industry. By no means is this meant to rage nor undervalue someone’s condition, this was genuinely on my mind.
