Offset balance with planned savings

Hi there,

I was wondering if that’s already in place, or if this could be a possible feature request.

Let’s say I’ve had a big unexpected expense, therefore my daily budget is e.g. -500. I also have a monthly saving goal of let’s say 1000.

Instead of being on a negative, I would just offset the balance with the planned saving goal. This way I’d just go back to 0, and the saving goal for the month would shrink to the residual amount.

I realize this doesn’t really make a difference if I get to 0 balance from negative, or if I go over the balance to catch up with the expense, but this way I’d be able to decide to give up half of the savings for this month, and move on.

Loving the app so far! I’ve been much more aware of my spending patterns. It helps a lot with making informed decisions when it comes to buying stuff I don’t necessarily need. Thanks.
